IIT Bombay Holds its 58th Convocation in Virtual Reality mode

Mumbai : The 58th meeting of IIT Bombay was held today (August 23, 2020) from 1.30 pm onwards in Virtual Reality mode, keeping in see the wellbeing measures during the progressing pandemic. This year, three understudies were introduced the Gold decorations for their commendable execution. The ‘Leader of India Medal’ was presented on Sahil Hiral Shah, a (B.Tech) understudy from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The ‘Organization Gold Medal (2018-19)’ was granted to Shashwat Shukla, an understudy from the Department of Electrical Engineering. ‘Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal’ was given on Prakash Singh Badal, a Ph.D. understudy from the Department of Civil Engineering. Furthermore, departmental clinchers were given silver decorations by the central visitors.
